The recent wedding fairs at The Lodore Falls Hotel and Inn on the Lake attracted over 650 of mothers and ‘brides to be’ – which only goes to highlight the importance of the Lake District as a wedding venue.

Chef Nigel Harper was the most popular man on the day – in charge of the tasting sessions and there were queues for one to one chats.
